Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has denied circulating rumors that a dispute has erupted between her and Hanan Turk, who is considered to be her rivalry, over the role of Cinderella in the new film “Al Andaleeb”. Muna assured that neither her nor Hanan were nominated to portray the late actress Suad Husni, also known as the Cinderella, and the fact is a new actress will be given the role.

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, on her part, Hanan stressed that she is tired of such rumors of constant disputes with Muna, assuring that she and Muna are very good friends and are looking for a film to join them together.

Rumors had it that Muna had taken the role of Egypt’s Cinderella from Hanan, after the two hadbeen struggling for some time to win the part in the new film alongside prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki.

It was added that Muna and Hanan went through a crucial competition that ended with Hanan’s elimination after the production company felt that she is an over exhausted actress in addition to her frail figure that makes her incapable of portraying the role of the Cinderella. Muna was fully approved for the role because her body and attitude are fit for the role and her face has a romantic essence to it. –Albawaba.com
