At a time when Egyptians and the entire world are sympathising with the poor rape victim of Tahrir Square, Ghada Abdel Razek decided to go against the flow and called her "lucky"!
The Egyptian actress's statement was met with fierce criticism on Twitter, as tweeps across the Arab world considered her description "out of place."
Ghada's tweet went as follows: "Yesterday when we saw our respectable President (visiting her in hospital) we all said how lucky is that woman?"
Although Ghada most likely meant this in a sweet way, she should have expressed her feelings towards the horrific incident and the rapists as well.
Meanwhile, Egyptian actress Mona Zaki was utterly disgusted by the horrific incident and tweeted saying: "To those male animals - with all due respect to animals - if you can’t keep 'it' in your pants, it should be chopped off instead."
