While checking out his fan mail this week, one particular message didn't go down too well with the patriotic Palestinian superstar Mohammed Assaf.
In between reading loving messages from fans worldwide and answering their curious questions, such as his thoughts on Saudi Arabian singer Rashed al Majed - Rashed is a legend, according to him - what popped up on the screen next made Assaf's head spin.
One "fan" wrote in to him saying, "Come to Israel, you have Israeli blood running through your veins," to which Assaf smirked then sarcastically laughed off saying, "Tfuu on you and on Israel."
"Tfuu" is the onomatopoeia for spitting in Arabic.
It's no secret that the recently-engaged star is extremely passionate about his hometown Gaza and works hard towards bettering Palestine on an economic, educational and social level through his role as the Regional Youth Ambassador of UNRWA.
