Miss India-World 2004 Sayali Bhagat sent an email to Egyptian singer Hisham Abbass requesting she take part in his upcoming music video, and make it similar to his previous one (Nari Narain), which was shot in India and achieved tremendous success. Hisham agreed immediately to the request and is in fact in the process of preparing a video for the song “Majnoona” (Crazy), in which the leading role will be given to Miss India.

The shooting of the video, which will mark the second cultural venture initiated, will take place in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. In this video there will be no other dancers and only a love story between Hisham and Bhagat.

Bahgat arrived in Egypt on the 7th of May to place the final touches on the details of the clip. Hisham took Miss India on a tour around Egypt along with his wife, and then headed off to Aswan to begin the shooting of the new video.

Recently, Abbas underwent extensive working session with scenarist Mohammad Al Nasser to place the final touches on his upcoming film "Al Mughani" (The Singer) script. The two are trying to finalize all the small details of the film in order to have it ready for filming in the very near future.

Hisham is very careful with all the elements in the film since it will mark his first acting experience. The theme in the film will be a romantic comedy, in which Hisham hopes to make a successful debut in. The film is expected to be directed by Tariq Al Iryan, which he will begin work on after completing the movie he is shooting at the current time.

Born in Cairo, Hisham graduated as a mechanical engineer, but ended up having a career in music. "Though nobody in my family is into music, I was always musically inclined. I was 16 when I started singing and had my own band called Bats." He studied engineering to please his father, who’s also an engineer. Later on, Hisham convinced him that his heart is into music and his father relented. He started out as a sound engineer, and then moved on to singing and composing." –Albawaba.com
