ALBAWABA - Fans of American singer-songwriter and actress Miley Cyrus flooded social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) in concern over the pop star's well-being and safety after several videos and pictures circulated her bodyguard allegedly holding a suspicious-looking umbrella and what appears to be a fake hand.
This all came in after several videos and pictures showcased Miley and her guard walking together on the 2024 Grammys' carpet with the pop star wearing a revealing golden outfit that may have been inspired by her song "Flowers." This left us and concerned fans alike with one question:
Is Miley Cyrus in danger? concerns flood social media
All kinds of rumors flooded X with studies and analogies saying that there was something unusual about how the guard's hand looked with several calling his arm fake and longer than the other one. On the other hand, others had suspicions that the bodyguard was hiding a weapon in either his fake arm or the umbrella he was holding.
Here's what some users had to say about the rumors in question:
"Pay close attention to Miley Cyrus’s bodyguard in this video at the Grammys all is not as it seems."
"Auto firearm dressed as an umbrella?"
"Left Arm longer than Right Arm. It's a GIMMICK. Real weapon concealed by the black coat, the oldest trick in the bodyguard book."
"The celebrities have more protection than the US southern border."
Others slammed all kinds of rumors and conspiracies:
"Being a full-time conspiracy theorist must be exhausting."
"It’s an umbrella damn I thought it was a shotgun for a second!"
And our favorite:
"Don't underestimate umbrella guys.
1. They can benefit you by covering you when it's raining.
2. They can shield you from paparazzi if you don't want people taking your picture.
3. They can become protective tools if required.
4. They can shield you from excessive UV outside."
