While Kuwaiti TV host Halima Boland is often the butt of every joke when it comes to the way she speaks (she puts on a fake Kim Kardashian-like voice), laughs and flaunts her bumps and humps, it makes it in noway acceptable to harass her for it.
Internet trolls and some Arabic tabloid newspapers have criticized Halima for the way she dresses one too many times, but she continues to practise her freedom of choice by flaunting what her mama gave her.
It is for the reason above that some say Halima should not be surprised when a hormonal man touches sensitive areas of her body when surrounded by a crowd of people.
Others, too, blame her wardrobe, and not just her fame, on the increasing sexual harassment incidents she's been subjected to.
In a recent video, Halima was seen pushing away a young male 'fan' when he grabbed her butt while taking a selfie with her.
On another occasion (in 2015), Halima was in London when a group of guys hassled her in a parking lot as she tried to find her car.
The men followed a clearly distressed Halima around the car park without getting out of their car. They sleazily focused their video camera on her derriere, making it awkward even for the most liberal of us to watch.
Their derogatory and sarcastic comments didn't help the situation either.
We have a message for the internet trolls and men who continue to harass Halima: It is never, ever OK to subject Halima, or any other woman, to sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Behaving in this manner does not make you a "man;" on the contrary, it makes you a coward.
Think before you act: It takes five seconds for you to sexually harass a woman, and a lifetime for her to try and forget about it.
