Her country may be in utter chaos, but Mayada Al Hinawi isn't going anywhere. The owner of production company "Mazzika", Muhsin Jaber, has tried to persuade the Syrian songstress to swing over to Egypt until her homeland stabilizes, but she won't be moving for man or music until things calm down.

Ali Abdel Fatah, official media spokesperson for the Egyptian company, dished that Mayada is halfway done with an album but has decided not to leave her family or nation behind to finish it elsewhere, despite the fact that the current crisis is keeping her from completing the rest of the tracks for the album.

Abdel Fatah said, "There is constant communication between Mayada and Muhsin to coordinate for her upcoming album. Mayada has completed recorded a number of songs, and there remains only a few, which she will record once conditions in Syria calm down."

While we all hope that there will soon be peace in Syria, it's probs realistic to assume we won't be hearing the Assad supporter's whole album in the near future.

Abdel Fatah went on to deny rumors that the company is forcing Mayada to give up the copyrights of her songs from her archive to the company and stressed that the company respects the achievements of Mayada from the moment she began working with them for the past years.
