After apparently receiving threatening calls from an anonymous man, Lebanese lovely, Maya Diab, decided to post the phone number on her Facebook wall, hoping that one of her fans would recognize the digits.
But the plot thickened after rumors circulated that the saucy star was receiving death threats during the calls and that the number belonged to none other than Egyptian politician, Amro Hamzawi.
Now Maya has fiercely denied reports that Dr. Hamzawi was harassing her and told reporters this week that she doesn't know the member of the Egyptian Parliament and is very upset about the gossip.
The star said she kept a special place in her heart for Egyptians and will be heading there in the near future to pursue work projects. So far Dr. Hamzawi hasn't commented on the reports.
