Being a good actress isn't enough sometimes. Nowadays, actors are having to learn new skills for each of the roles they play, and Jordanian singer-turned-actress May Salim is no exception.

The young starlet's success in the Egyptian film “Ush El Bulbul” (Bulbul's Nest) didn't come from nowhere. The ambitious missy did a lot of practice.

May was asked to venture into a new experience and learn the art of singing Egyptian folklore music for her role in Bulbul's Nest.

The success of the Eid Al Adha film was proof that May had mastered that type of singing pretty well.

Starring alongside Salim were Egyptian stars Dina the dancer, singer Saad Al Soghayar, and actor Mahmoud Abdelaziz.

But what new venture is May stepping into these days? The adventurous soul is currently in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, where she's taking part in their new thrilling risky and adventurous games TV show “The Yas Challenge.”

The show is being filmed in the larger-than-life Ferrari World; the perfect spot for a show like this!

That's one show we can't miss out on watching!
