The American actor also made a surprise appearance at Geoff Keighley's Game Awards 2023 to announce a new game called Exodus and said that this is his first time taking part in a video game ever!
The developer describes the game as a "real-time strategy PC game featuring stunning photorealistic graphics, old-school RTS gameplay mechanics mixed with our own fresh ideas, and a thrilling horror-infused story about a dystopian alternative timeline of human history."
Exodus will star McConaughey as the lead voice actor for one of the characters in the upcoming game. According to IGN, the game has been under development since 2020.
