Lebanese controversial singer Marwa announced that she refuses to travel to Egypt due t the unstable political conditions that led the streets of the country to be unsafe and unsecure. She added that she fears her life would be in danger if she travelled to Egypt these days and also fears to be attacked by criminals roaming the streets.
Marwa stressed that she has made a decision of not going to Egypt until conditions are back to normal and all elections are complete.
The singer has cancelled all previously scheduled performances in Egypt and preferred to remain in Lebanon, where according to her is much safer. One of the performances Marwa cancelled is a New Year’s Eve concert at one of the prestigious hotels in Cairo.
Marwa has expressed her sorrow and disappointment at the conditions in Egypt and fears the breakout of a civil war. She added that she prays to God conditions improve and not worsen.
