Sources at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information have confirmed that a concert agent was successful in obtaining a permit to allow controversial Lebanese singer Marwa to hold a concert during the Eid El Fitr holiday in Kuwait.
According to Al Watan daily, Marwa will hold a grand concert at the Ice Skating arena. Until this moment there has been no reaction from Islamists and how they feel about having a singer like Marwa sing in Kuwait.
Marwa revealed that she will make her debut onto the big screen in the upcoming Egyptian film “Haha and Tufaha,” alongside Egyptian actress Yasmine Abdul Aziz and Tal’at Zakaria.
Marwa will give a number of musical performances throughout the film, written by Bilal Fadel and directed by Akram Fareed.
Recently, Marwa announced that she has nothing against Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi, acknowledging that she did make a comment that Haifa is better fit to be a fashion model than a singer.
Marwa also stated that female singers imitate her unique style, only proving her success.
