Lebanese singer Mariam Fares revealed that the tattoo she has on her ankle she had done many years ago. Mariam said she tries to conceal it and even attempted to have it removed, but doctors advised her not do so.
Mariam stated that she had the tattoo done when she was 14 years old and always tries to hide it with makeup and different accessories, because she hates having it. She added that when she sought medical attention to have it removed doctors informed her that she would have a permanent burnt mark in its place.
During a recent press conference held in Dubai celebrating Mariam’s latest album, the tattoo caught the attention of those present and all wondered the story behind it.
With regards to her career, Mariam said that despite criticism her latest song “Talah” received, it has ranked number one in Morocco, the Arab Gulf and Lebanon.
