Lebanese singer Majida Al Romi glowed at her Algerian concert. She awed thousands of fans, who fought their way through to see her. There were also hundreds of fans standing outside listening to her beautiful songs.
The concert lasted for three hours, and she sang a collection of her old and new songs.
According to the London daily Elaph, Majida also sang “Ya Biladi” (My Home Country) and “Ya Beirut” (Oh Beirut) for her mother country Lebanon. Majida said that she is not singing for Beirut, she is praying for it.
Majida surprised her fans by singing a duet, “Al Sham’ah” (The Candle), with rising Algerian artist Raja Mizyan.
Majida ended her concert with another duet with Algerian artist Anisah Shaboba. They performed one of Majida’s older songs, ‘Kalimat” (Words).
