Majida Al Roumi demands to live in peace

Prominent Lebanese singer Majida Al Roumi recently held a grand performance at the Cairo International Conference Center, which was part of the events of the Arab Media Festival.

 

After being late for over an hour, Majida appeared in a glamorous white gown greeting her band and choir. Majida also gave a warm welcome to her Egyptian audience expressing her honor and joy at having the opportunity to sing for them. She sang a collection of her most popular hits mesmerizing everyone present.

 

According to the London based Elaph, during her performance, Majida sent out a special message to Lebanese politicians saying “It has been thirty years since he have been standing still, and we are people who deserve to live and refuse to die and from this stage I call on all politicians without any exceptions to have mercy and dignity and leave us the people live in peace.”

 

After her short speech, Majida sang the song “Mr. President” and went on to sing a collection of Lebanese patriotic songs. Majida concluded her performance with a special song dedicated to her Egyptian audience titled “Bahlif Bi Ismha” (I swear by its name).

 

Majida is currently preoccupied preparing for her upcoming album, which she hopes to release in the near future.
