During a phone interview Fateq Hasan, the manager of Majed Al Muhandis, said that Al Muhandis’ health is improving and that he has awakened from his coma.
According to the London daily Elaph, Al Muhandis is alert and aware of what is going on around him, yet he is still unable to speak.
A full recovery is expected within two weeks.
Al Muhandis was involved in a car accident while traveling from Italy to France, where he was vacationing with his family.
Al Muhandis rented a car with a driver. The driver lost control of the vehicle while driving on a major highway and the car crashed into a metal fence.
