Egyptian belly dancer and actress Lucy has survived a stroke, causing the star to be partially paralysed. The stroke happened as it is reported Lucy had severely low bloody pressure, and the star has now been placed under supervision by medical staff.
Close family and friends have pleaded that the incident not be publicised, as she needs time to convalesce and remain stress-free. Lucy is currently resting at home, away from the spotlight of the media.
Lucy’s husband Sult Al Kashif has said that his wife became highly stressed whilst watching the events outside the American Embassy, where violent protests broke out over a blasphemous film posted on the website YouTube.
Sultan added that doctors have advised the star to refrain from watching any television, especially new channels, and also to avoid following any events in Egypt.
