Fans of progressive rock music in the UAE are in for a treat.
Dream Theater, the Dream Theater, will be making a stop in the Emirates to promote their second album, Images & Words, which turns 25 this year.
“Their concert will spread out for at least two hours and expectant fans can bask in the exceptional performance of their cult,” said a (weirdly-phrased) press release.
The band's first real hit, "Pull Me Under," was released on Images & Words. Although the band has gone through several line-up changes, it has managed to release a total of 13 studio albums since forming in 1985. The last of these, The Astonishing, released in 2016.
Ticket information is unavailable, but the show is scheduled sometime "this autumn" at Dubai's The Dome, inside Dubai Sports City.
