ALBAWABA - Lil Nas X faces felony charges after shocking Los Angeles arrest.
Lil Nas X is being charged with felonies because police say he hurt them when they found him naked on Ventura Boulevard last week.
Police in Los Angeles said that the "Old Town Road" rapper, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, aka Lil Nas X, charged at them when they tried to talk to him early last Thursday. Police said they got reports of a naked guy in the area, which led to the arrest.
Last week, a police source told NBC News that Lil Nas X punched a police officer twice in the face. The source said it wasn't clear whether Lil Nas X was having mental health issues or an overdose.
At the time, the "Old Town Road" rapper was taken to the hospital and charged with assaulting a police officer.
There are now three counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest against Lil Nas X. The papers were filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Further details regarding the incident were not immediately disclosed.
TMZ was the first to report on Thursday that the rapper was in the hospital. They also got an exclusive video of the rapper going down the street in white briefs and cowboy boots. Later, the news source got a video of the US rapper , who was barefoot and naked.
