We're feeling so gay today, and by gay, we mean happy.
May Hariri got served by her fans this week after "accidentally" referring to her friends as, um, gay. Except, her gay was slightly different to ours! The context in which hers was used in implied that the men she was referring to are homosexual
The super awkward incident occurred when the Lebanese pop singer Instagrammed a fun picture of herself with a girlfriend and two guys.
The photo was captioned, "Miss you gays."
Lesbihonest, it could happen to the best of us! We're sure May really meant to type "guys"... she wouldn't out her friends like that!
But May's "fans" had a field day with it, bombarding her with sarcastic messages, where they criticised her "clearly bad English."
The confident singer reportedly responded to her haters by saying, "This was an autocorrect mistake. My phone changed the word without me noticing. Why is everyone trying to dig up my mistakes? I wish they would just leave me alone!"
Earlier this year, May faced another wave of criticism when she posted a photo with a cigarette in her mouth.
