The Lebanese Professional Artists Association and the Artists Association Support Fund decided to produce a song entitled Hikayat Watan (Homeland Story) in perpetuation of the second anniversary of the Resistance and Liberation Day in Lebanon which falls on May 25, 2002, according to the London based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat.
The song was written by the head of the Screenwriters, Composers and Music Distributors Society, Elias Naser and composed by Fadi Subhi Saad.
A large group of the association members will participate in the single singing including Wadie’ al Safi, Nawal al Zughbi, Elaine Khalaf, Ehsan Sadeq, Asi al Hillani, Tony Kiwan, Nicola al Osta, and Asi al Bitar in addition to Mue’en Sharaf and Wael al Jassar. In collective singing, a group of senior Lebanese actors will participate.
The song will be shot as a video clip at the new stadium in the Lebanese town of Thoaq Makayel north of Beirut under the direction of the two directors Tony and Mirna Abu Elias -- Albawaba.com
