It was the late iconic Egyptian actress Faten Hamama's birthday on May 27, and her loyal husband celebrated her memory by visiting the place where she was put to rest in peace. Hamama died on January 17, 2015 at the age of 84.

According to Veto Gate, Faten's hubby Dr. Mohammad Abdel Wahab left beautiful flowers on his beloved late wife's grave on Wednesday, before sitting by her side and gently reading verses from the Quran.

The cemetery keeper said that Abdel Wahab is a frequent visitor to his late wife's grave, adding that hundreds of people travel from all over the world to pay their respects to the "First Lady of Arab Cinema" in her grave.

Hamama married Egyptian film star Omar Sharif in 1955. They co-starred in several movies together and became one of Egypt's most famous celebrity couples, before divorcing in the mid-1970s. She married Abdel Wahab in 1976, a year after divorcing Sharif.
