ALBAWABA - Lana Del Rey calls for Gaza peace while mourning Texas floods.
She called it her "greatest wish" as she watched the news on Monday that there would be peace in the Gaza Strip.
The singer, who has been nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, wrote this in a post where she also showed her support for those in Texas who have been affected by the terrible floods. She wrote, "I'm so sorry for everyone going through this," referring to the people in Central Texas who were hurt by the heavy rains.
Del Rey wrote a comment under the post to remind her fans of the ongoing killings in Gaza.
Del Rey shared a picture of a clear blue sky on Instagram with a sweet note written in pink: "My thoughts are with you every day since the floods..." This week, my thoughts are with you all the time. May the angels help you find your lost loved ones.
She also said, "I can't believe this..." I have no idea how to explain it.

Lana Del Rey talked about the situation in Gaza in her post, even though it was mostly about the problem in Texas. A fan asked her why she wasn't talking about the Middle East, and she said, "Yes, we pray for Palestine every day."
She went on, "I want peace between all nations, and I pay close attention to the news about the fight between Israel and Palestine." When we were getting close to a peace deal, I was very hopeful. That was my biggest wish as I watched from afar.

She said, "It's always hard to watch innocent people being killed because of war crimes." Del Rey made her pacifist attitude clear. There isn't a perfect recipe that works for everyone, but this is my experience. I'm always keeping up with what's going on in politics, and I really hope that the fighting stops.
"This conflict has been going on for a long time, and I've studied it carefully to understand it," she said at the end of her post. The fact that the world still hasn't found an answer breaks my heart. This comes up every day in my chats, and we always talk about what we can do to help in these kinds of situations. It's how I've always been.
