Egyptian veteran actress Laila Elwi has finally said “yes” to a starring role in a TV drama series this Ramadan season.
The actress will be working on “Shams Bokra” (Tomorrow’s Sun), which will be produced by “King Tut Productions.”
The social romantic drama will see actor Hani Adel with a starring role as well. No other cast members have yet been selected, but they’re currently being auditioned for the final selection next week.
According to Elaph news, the drama was written by Alaa Hassan and will be directed by Khaled Al Hajar.
Actors will be ready to begin filming their first scenes in two weeks’ time. They will be faced with a hectic schedule in order to have the show ready for airing by mid-Ramadan.
