Kim Kardashian raced almost 1,750 miles to confront husband Kanye West after he pushed her to her 'breaking point' on Sunday's Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The season 16 episode of the E! show saw Kim exasperated when the rap superstar publicly declared last September that their family was moving to Chicago – even though he had never discussed it with his wife.
Kim, 38, immediately took a private jet from L.A. to Chicago for an awkward confrontation over his 'insane' public announcement.
'What do you want to do? You wanna live in Chicago and I'll live here and we'll FaceTime?' she later asked as the move remained a point of contention.
She earlier also let on to her frustrations over Kanye's political 'rant' in support of President Donald Trump at the end of Saturday Night Live, which was widely booed.
'Like, I can't control it,' Kim said of her 41-year-old husband.
'I don't know if they'll invite us back, ever,' she admitted of the legendary comedy show where Kanye also dressed as a water bottle to perform with Lil Pump.
Kim grew even more upset when mom Kris Jenner, 62, told her: 'I just feel like to keep him calm you really need to pay him a little more attention.'
'Mom, I have a million kids. I have a million jobs,' Kim snapped.
When her mom still insisted that she thought Kanye was 'expecting a lot more than you're giving,' Kim complained: 'I don't have much more to give.'
Kim after learning of the planned move via a friend who saw it on the Internet flew to Kanye's Chicago office to get to the bottom of it.
Kanye said he was serious about the move and Kim resigned herself to 'roll with it'.
'I definitely feel like I'm being pulled in a million directions,' Kim said in a confessional. 'So moving to Chicago would have to be a long conversation and, honestly, it might be my breaking point.'
Kim later flew her family to New York to support Kanye for his SNL performance, seemingly frustrated at struggling to spend time with him while he worked 'nonstop' on an album.
'That's what he likes to do, so I'm trying to be super supportive of all of that,' she said.
There, she also made a call to Nicki Minaj – sounding like close friends, with Nicki calling her 'my darling' – inviting her to work on a song with Kanye who insisted it was 'gonna be fire.'
'I'm gonna say some real a** s*** that b****es need to hear,;' Nicki vowed, with Kanye replying: 'That's all we do.'
Even before SNL, Kim admitted: 'Inside, I'm freaking out a little bit. Because live TV you never know what could happen.'
After the performance, she seemed resigned, saying: 'I know that Kanye is always gonna be Kanye and I'm never trying to change that. That's who I fell in love with and I'm not trying to change who he is.'
However, she had a second confrontation with him over his ongoing ambition to uproot them all to his hometown, asking: 'So what do you want to do? You wanna live in Chicago and I'll live here and we'll FaceTime?'
After she told him it would be 'really hard to take the kids and leave and permanently move,' he told her: 'When I went to Chicago I felt like I was home. There were a lot of things that missed just not being there for a long, long, long time.'
Saying he felt 'connected' and 'inspired' in his hometown, they finally agreed to stay based in California but 'get a place in Chicago that we can go back-and-forth,' as Kim put it.
Kanye finally agreed: 'We're not gonna move full time. But we will spend time because that's my home too.'
He told her how proud he was that people chanted his name in Chicago – with his wife teasing him that he was just upset that they shouted for her instead in Los Angeles.
'But my whole life is in California. I met him when he lived in California – it's not like I met him and he lived in Chicago and moved to California for us.'
In New York, Kim also had a heart-to-heart with her five-year-old daughter North on the trip when she asked why there were 'a lot of people every day taking pictures' of them.
'Well, to get very technical: my name is Kim Kardashian. And Daddy is Kanye West,' she answered.
'And Daddy is a singer, performer, artiste. Mommy has so many talents I can't even begin to name them,' she said, smiling.
Kim in the episode titled Kourtney's Choice also persuaded Scott to join her in New York – just so that he could prove to his ex, Kourtney, that they could travel well together so that she would invite him on the upcoming family trip to Bali.
'I'm definitely looking for a drama-free, spiritual vacation,' she insisted, with Kim also saying the trip would be a 'spiritual awakening.'
Scott soon proved himself on the New York trip, telling Kim of his newfound love of being a family man: 'I was young when I first had the kids. Now I appreciate it and like it way more.
'They're my best friends. I'd rather hang out with them than anybody else.'
Kourtney also noticed, saying: 'I was worried about Scott in New York, which is normally very distracting to him. But it's really nice to see Scott in full dad-mode, all hanging out together as a family.'
She added: 'I feel like this New York trip has really like made me feel excited. It's really nice to see how much Scott has grown and how much he's invested in being a great dad to the kids.'
'Mixed messages with what?' Scott asked, sounding offended.
'I'm in a full relationship,' he said, referring to model Sofia Richie – easing the tension by joking: 'You barely give a regular message.'
Momager Kris, however, decided to miss the trip to stay home with her own mom, MJ, who was sick with pneumonia and a 'terrible intense infection.'
'I can't imagine being on the other side of the world and having her need me,' she said.
'I would be taking off feeling like I was making the worst decision.'
When Kourtney insisted they would be 'soul-searching rather than tanning' on the trip, her mom quipped: 'Well if you find your soul, text me.'
Khloe, meanwhile, joked about the origins of the family's fame when her mom handed her an MTV award, which they won for best reality show.
When they asked who she would like to thank, Khloe said: 'My Lord and Savior. And Kimberly for f***ing on camera.'
She was, of course, referring to Kim's 2003 sex tape with former boyfriend Ray J that was leaked in 2007, thrusting them in the spotlight.
'I don't get any credit ever,' Kris complained.
Kim was also shown gushing over 'cute' photos of her naked in a bathtub – then getting weirded out when her mom said, 'I love this' and asked for prints.
'At least you don't have the handcuffs on,' her mom smiled.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Sundays at 9 pm on the E! network.
