The Kardashian Klan should know better than to offend thousands of their Arab fans worldwide, but clearly they didn't think a simple Halloween costume would do just that!
An Instagram snapshot posted by Khloe K caused a social media outrage, especially after the reality TV starlet "insensitively" added the caption "Sheikh Pussy" to it.
Khloe was clearly referring to herself as a "pussy," AKA pussy cat, as she opted for a lace-veiled kitty-cat costume, while referring to her sister Kourtney's long-term BF Scott Disick and their friend as "Sheikh," as they were both dressed up as native Arab Sheikhs!
Although there was absolutely nothing wrong with what K did, many of her 14 million plus followers begged to differ.
The fashionista was bombarded with hateful comments from followers who deemed the costumes as "offensive."
One follower told the 30-year-old starlet, “Ur caption is very disrespectful to Muslims. Watch ur mouth!!,” according to a report by the Daily Mail.
“Disappointed .. lost respect,” another added
But at least one person saw things from our perspective, saying, "People are trying to report the caption as hate speech, they don't get the play on words...some people are so closed minded."
Meanwhile, Scott posted his own picture dressed as an Arab Sheikh, taken in front of a Bughatti and a Rolls Royce, with the caption, "Happy Halloween! We getting Arab money tonight."
One unimpressed social media user commented, "why did Scott Disick dress like that for Halloween who does he think he is?"
