Kazem al-Saher signed recently a contract with the Egyptian International Production City to produce his first movie in which he will sing and act, according to ArabTop.net.
The story of the movie is written by Waheed Hamed and Hussein Kamal, and Sherif Arafa is expected to direct it.
The report added that the shooting will begin in a couple of months. A preliminary budget of 7 Million Egyptian Pounds has been set for the movie.
The renowned singer was reported to have been contacted by the retired actress Huda Ramzi who asked him to star a film named after one of his songs “Zeedini Ishkan.”
Uda told reporters that Kazem was studying the script.
On the other hand, Kazem signed also a contract with one of the production companies to work on his new album. Three videos of the album will be released.
Kazem has preformed lately at The Cairo Opera House on the 4TH December 2000 in favor of the Maady Orphan Children Group. The performance was under the sponsorship of the Egyptian Ladies L’yons Club and was attended by the Egyptian First Lady Suzan Mubarak.
Kazem presented a speech for the L’yons Club Members. All the proceeds of the performance were donated to build a house for the orphan children of Maady City in Cairo – Albawaba.com
