Lebanese artist Jowana Malah joined orphans at a Beirut restaurant for Iftar “breaking of the fast” meal this Ramadan.
According to the London daily Elaph, Jowana joined them during prayer time before having the meal. She recited her Ramadan prayer called “Allah Ya Rahman” (God the Merciful), which is being aired on television channels at Iftar time.
She went around the tables visiting with the children. They asked her for her autograph and requested that she sing a song for them. Jowana did not let her young fans down. She sang for them and then presented them with a cake.
Jowana recently appeared as a guest on the program “Star Mobile,” aired on the Lebanese channel “Future.”
Jowana will spend the rest of the holy month with her family.
She has denied rumors that she intends to retire from her singing career.
The success of her Ramadan prayer only encourages her to move forward, said Jowana.
