Lebanese singer Jowana Malah has been visiting Egypt for over a month, according to the London daily Elaph.
Jowana came to Egypt to meet with ‘O-Music Production Company’ to prepare for her up coming album to be released at Eid El Fiter time, right after Ramadan, the Muslim holy month.
Jowana went into the studios to start recording and claims the new album “will be a bomb filled with Middle Eastern dancing beat.”
The news of Jowana’s stay in Egypt prompted numerous rumors. One rumor claimed that she fled the unclear political situation in Lebanon, while others claimed that married an Egyptian businessman and has moved to Egypt, which Jowana denies.
Jowana used her time wisely in Egypt to advertise her latest song “Qarabni Leek” (Get Me Closer to You) by airing it on Egyptian channels.
