After achieving great success in recording and distribution work in collaboration with Madonna, Sting, Prince and Fudail, the international sound engineer Joe Hutoda has decided to work with the Lebanese singer Pascal Mashalani.
According to the Algerian daily Al Khabar, Hutoda is expected to arrive in Lebanon in one week’s time. Pascal will be waiting for him to supervise work on her new cassette, which will hit the shelves by the end of this month. Hutoda will be accompanied by his Algerian colleague Nabil Camdi, who has collaborated with singer Rashid Taha on many songs including“ Ya Rayeh”.
Mashalani announced a few days ago her intention to sing in Italian on a new album. Ihsan Al Munther and Imad Shams from Lebanon will participate in composing the new album’s songs, along with Egyptian composers including Sharif Taj, Essam Karika, and Hamdi Al Siddiq, whom Mashalani met during her last visit to Cairo.
