Young Egyptian singer Jinni just filmed a video clip for her latest song, in which filming lasted for two days in Al Kaslik and Al Firdan in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
The clip was filmed by Ziad Khoury and directed by Klode Barakat, and will be aired on the satellite musical channels in the coming days.
The lyrics for the song, from her new album, were written by Amir Taymah, composed by Muhammad Rahim, and the album, featuring ten songs is distributed by Hazem Ra’fat.
The dance moves were choreographed by Sami Al Haj, who also worked with Lebanese singer Carole Samaha on her last video clip.
The idea for the clip is an adaptation of famous singer Jenifer Lopez’s recent clip.
According to the London daily Elaph, Jinni is very pleased with her new album that is more romantic that her previous work, often described as ‘naughty.’ The new album is a mix between Middle Eastern and western music.
Jinni said that she was concerned about one of the scenes from the clip in which she wears pajamas, without any make-up. She said that she “wanted to appear real” in front of her fans.
Surprisingly, the scene without her make-up turned out to be the best scene in the clip.
