Last week, the elegant Jihan Alama was awarded with the “Best Jewellery Designer of the Year 2013” award in Paris.
Ragheb Alama’s wife was presented with the award by French magazine “The Best” founder Massimo Gargia at the Salon Hoche Paris.
This is Massimo’s 37th round of the awards festival, which he holds under the name of “Prix The Best.” As expected, the festival was attended by French and international celebrities.
The “Djihan Jewellery” creative head attended the event in a beautiful red lace dress in the company of her close friends who reside in Paris.
After accepting the award, Jihan gave a short speech thanking Massimo and the festival for her award saying:
“It is an honor for me to be amongst everyone here today and I dedicate this award to my dear country; I am very proud to be Lebanese.”
Massimo had nominated Jihan for the award after an extensive search of successful people in the Middle East. He was very impressed with Jihan's line of jewellery, which he described as beautiful, feminine and very elegant. Massimo had personally informed Jihan of her nomination.
