The Flashlight singer, 32, disclosed her illness on a recent Instagram live in which she revealed that she struggled to hear, sing or even walk in a straight line.
Ménière's disease is an ear condition that can cause sudden attacks of dizzy spells vertigo and loss of hearing.
According to the NHS website, an attack of Ménière's disease may cause sufferers to feel like they or everything them you is spinning, lose their balance and feel sick.
Updating her fans on what happened, she explained: 'I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn’t walk in a straight line.
'Basically I got told I had Meniere’s syndrome. I know that a lot of people suffer from it and I’ve actually had a lot of people reach out to me and give me great advice, so I’ve just been laying low in silence.
'Now’s the first time I’ve been able to sing and bear it. I just miss singing so much and being around anyone.'
The star went on: 'It could be way worse, it is what it is. I’m super grateful for my health. It just threw me off.
'On Christmas Eve I was in the ear hospital going, ‘What is going on?’.
'But I’m glad I went early and they worked out what it was really quick and I got put on the right medicine so I feel a lot better today.
'I haven’t sung for so long and when I sing loud, it sounds like there’s someone trying to run out of my ear.'
On Christmas Day, Jessie took to Instagram to share selfies, where she confirmed in her caption that she had been diagnosed with Meniere’s syndrome.
Amid a list of things she'd done that day, the star told how she was forced to watch television with a finger in her ear as she described how her illness felt.
She said: 'I am now watching Queens Gambit with my finger in my ear. I’ve done the first episode 4 times because I zero focus and my ear sounds like someone crawled in and turned a hairdryer on.
Her post was flooded with many sympathetic messages, including Ru Paul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage who commented: 'Menieres NOT fun....i feel your pain.'
With Jessie replying: 'you have had it too? It’s so weird and comes out of nowhere, merry Christmas.'
Meanwhile, at the start of the coronavirus crisis, the brunette sparked reconciliation claims with screen star Channing Tatum, 40, when she uploaded a sweet message in celebration of his birthday.
The singer's social media activity came just weeks after she was reported to have called it quits from the thespian once again, following on from their rekindled relationship earlier this year.
Magic Mike's Channing is said to have made an account on the celebrity dating app Raya following their break-up, quipping in his bio: 'And yes, I used to be a stripper. Sorry.'
The pair, who first started dating in late 2018, reunited in January following a nearly two-month-long break, with a source telling E! at the time: 'They are fully back together'.
The Think About That star's new song Simply Be In Love is reportedly about their relationship.
The lyrics of the track, obtained by The Sun, appear to suggest the reason for their many breakups was because they rushed into things too quickly.
She sings: 'You're always dreaming about tomorrow, and I'm still overthinking yesterday.
'Where you go I know I want to follow, let's make a promise on today. Take it slow, baby steps, so we don't ruin what comes next.
'Just be still, just stay calm, so we're not rushing what we are. Pressure off, just have fun, it's not a race, no need to run. If it's for ever, let's just simply be in love.'
