Jamal Suleiman marries Basma

The famous Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman arrived in Cairo from France where he filmed the first scenes for the new television drama series “Thakirat Al Jasad” (Body Memory).  Filming lasted for four days in the streets of Paris.


Suleiman plays the role of ‘Khaled Bo Tobal’, a revolutionary that fought during the Algerian war until he lost his arm.  Other scenes from the drama will be filmed  on location in Syria, Lebanon, and Spain.


According to the London daily Elaph, “Thakirat Al Jasad” was written by Algerian writer Ahlam Mistigani and Reem Hana, and is directed by Najdat Anzoor. The series is a production of Abu Dhabi television channel.


 Suleiman will also finish filming the Egyptian television drama series “Qisit Hob” (Love Story) in which he plays the role of a high school principle.  During the second half of the series he marries the actress Basma, who plays the role of ‘Rahmah’. She is the mother of one of the students at the school and a strong romantic relationship develops between the couple.


 The television drama series “Qisist Hob” is written by Midhat Al Adel, directed by Eman Haddad and produced by Jamal Al Adel.

 

The drama series “Qisit Hob” and Thakirat Jasad” will both be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season.
