The famous Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman announced that reports that he is refusing to meet with the press are false.

According to the London daily Elaph, Suleiman said that on the contrary he had given numerous television interviews and recently appeared on a number of shows.

“There is a limit to the number of show on which I can appear before it becomes a burden to viewers,” said Suleiman, adding that repeating himself might get the viewers bored of seeing him.

He claims that after he apologized to some journalist for not granting interviews, they became upset and started spreading the false rumors.

Suleiman recently participated in the entertainment show “Al Tajrobah” (The Experience) and chose to be a carpenter. On the show stars choose any profession they want and Suleiman went out in the Egyptian streets and worked as a carpenter.

Suleiman played the role of a carpenter in the successful television drama series “Darb Al Tiban,” aired on over 25 satellite channels across the Arab world.
