Syrian actor, Jamal Suleiman, has been an outspoken critic of the Assad regime and now his family have apparently paid the price for his comments. This week he confirmed that Syrian 'armed military forces' had ransacked his parents' home in Damascus, turning the flat upside down.
Jamal believes the military men were looking for him but all they found were family photos, utlities bills and some prescriptions. The actor recently fled the warn torn country for a safe house in the UAE, leaving his parents and siblings to face the music back in Syria. But despite the attack on his family home, the actor says he will continue to speak out against Assad's government and the atrocities happening in Damascus.
