Egyptian actress Jala Fahmi teams up for the first time with actor Hisham Sleem in a starring role for Al Shater Hassan (Smart Hassan), a romantic comedy directed by Issam Al Shama’a.
According to (the) Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper, the actress will begin shooting for the film in mid Ramadan.
In an interview with the London based daily, Fahmi explained that “the film connects romance, with comedy and politics, and is a serious study of parliamentarians who have negatively and illegally used their power to obtain large loans from banks.”
Aside from Fahmi and Sleem, the film stars Hassan Husni, Ahmad Rateb and Ahmad Khalil. It was written by Majida Kheirallah. – Albawaba.com.
