ALBAWABA - American YouTuber and content creator IShowSpeed went viral after donating half of his MrBeast challenge winnings to Palestine due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.
The donation was made on Jun. 11, 2024, under "Palestine Relief Web" and was a total of $50,000 half of what he earned from the recent MrBeast video where he competed with fellow YouTuber KSI in a wipe-out challenge.
IShowSpeed is no stranger to supporting Palestine as he's always been vocal about it through a series of clips from his official Twitch and YouTube. These clips included Speed saying things like "Free Palestine" towards Israeli settlers in occupied Palestinian territories.
IShowSpeed donates $50,000 to Palestine
Pro-Palestine activists took to several posts mentioning IShowSpeed's donation to Gaza and praised the YouTuber for his kind donation. Here's what several of them had to say on X (formerly known as Twitter):
"This kid is amazing, at only 19 years old, he donated that much and for a good cause!"
"I personally don't like the things he does, barking and clowning around, but I gotta say, he is one hell of a humble person from the inside, and I love how we can say that social media didn't make the wrong guy famous, respect."
"Good for him. Dude has a good heart!"
"W Speed!"
"We made the right person famous."
Some users were "disappointed" that IShowSpeed didn't donate all the money but several others took to his defense:
"I bet the people complaining about why he didn’t donate all of it are the ones that didn’t donate anything lol."

By the time of writing this article, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has resulted in the killing of more than 37,000 Palestinians of whom are children (not counting the ones buried under the rubble), as reported by the ministry of health in Gaza.
Additionally, at least 84,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7 were injured due to the constant bombardment from Israel leaving many Gazans homeless, displaced, and malnourished.
