As the UN development program’s ambassador for good intention, the Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi participated in three Arab conferences in Beirut and Abu Dhabi to support the Palestinian people who face a catastrophe these days.
The daily al Ahram cited Fahmi as saying that his participation in the peaceful political and popular conferences has come in his capacity as an Egyptian artist and a UN ambassador.
He added that the beginning was his participation in the peaceful popular demonstration along with the American University of Beirut’s students in Lebanon during which he pointed out the vision of the Egyptian artists and the role of the Arab, American and European artistic associations regarding the current circumstances in Palestine.
“During the conferences which I attended, I presented the artistic vision to explain the difference between the martyrdom operations in defending the homeland and fighting occupation and the other terrorist operations,” said Fahmi -- Albawaba.com
