ALBAWABA - The husband of Kuwaiti Fashionista and social media celebrity Fouz Al Fahad was reportedly arrested on charges of issuing checks without credit, Kuwait Network allegedly said.
Arrest of Fouz Al Fahad's husband
Kuwait Network account claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that Kuwaiti businessman Abdul Latif Al-Sarraf was arrested and referred to the central prison on charges of issuing checks without balance for huge sums.
Reactions online were divided as some mocked Al Fahad and repeated her last statements about her husband when she claimed that all the girls were jealous of her and wished to marry a man like Fouz's husband.
An online user wrote sarcastically: "Sure, an evil eye hit the Kuwaiti personality and her husband after what she said that everyone wishes a husband like hers, and now they imprisoned him. The only solution she has now is to contact "Um Al-Abbas".
Fouz Al Fahad's dispute with her family
Social media users also posted online remembering the legal case that Fouz filed against her brother and family members on charges of fraud, 3 years ago. The legal case coincided with her husband’s release days after he was arrested and imprisoned on charges of betrayal of trust.
Abdul Latif was accused of breach of trust and stealing $12 million belonging to the family’s money.
Years ago, an X user posted regarding Fouz Al Fahad's dispute with her family: "Currently, a businessman and a husband of a fashionista accused in the case of #MoneyLaundering. He is before the prosecution on charges of betrayal of trust, as well as stealing an amount of $12 million belonging to the family’s money. For your information, there are many cases between him and his family that have begun since his marriage because they refused their marriage."
Fawz's brother was working as her business manager, so their mother sided with him and withdrew from the partnership with her in her beauty salon.
