Egyptian actress Nelly Karim's Ramadan TV series "Sokoot Hor" and her powerful performance in it have received raving reviews from both critics and those who have been closely following the drama since it aired on the first day of the holy month (6 June 2016).
The drama contains a majority of disturbing scenes, seeing as Nelly plays the role of a psychopath who is accused of murdering her husband and her sister after the crime weapon, a gun, is found with her.
CBC, the TV channels that airs the show, posted a behind-the-scenes video which gave Nelly's fans a sneak peek into how some of the more technical scenes in the series are brought to life.
That scene was of Nelly drowning while sitting in her small bedroom in the psychiatric ward.
