The CEO of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Nevine Loutfy was found murdered at her home in the 6th of October suburb on the outskirts of Cairo on Tuesday.
An investigation and forensic team arrived at the murder scene shortly after the incident.
Her body was discovered with multiple stab wounds, according to Ahram Arabic website.

Egyptian actor Ahmed el Sakka happens to own the villa immediately next door to Loutfy's. Police have asked to use CCTV footage from his side in an attempt to identify the killer, but his security cameras' angles weren't of any use.
However, police were able to spot the killer using footage from the housing estate's security cameras.
Laha Magazine reported that police saw the killer driving off in the deceased's car, before abandoning it on the side of the road 150 meters away from the estate.
Loutfy began her banking career with Citibank in March 1976 where she joined the Cairo office as a Financial Analyst. She graduated with a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo.
With over three decades of banking experience, Loutfy has a diverse background and has worked across the corporate, SME and retail sectors.
She has extensive international experience gained in the US, Europe and emerging markets, with primary areas of expertise in local corporate and SME business management, in addition to credit risk and capital management.
