ALBAWABA - Egyptian singer Hossam Habib made headlines after Cairo police succeeded in arresting him over assaulting his ex-partner and fellow singer Sherine Abdel Wahab.
Moreover, Egyptian authorities confirmed that Sherine Abdel Wahab also accused Habib of stealing her phone, having a dispute over a piece of property, stealing dollars from her bag, and assaulting her.
Sources also confirmed that the incident occurred today Jul. 7, 2024, at midnight since Sherine was spotted at a local police station with blood dripping over her face where she also accused Habib of assaulting and torturing her as mentioned above.

A video was also leaked by Habib showcasing the aftermath of the incident and what happened to the house. Moreover, a short clip of the video showcased Sherine smacking a table onto the ground and swearing.
Users on Instagram took to Sherine's defense as they wrote comments about the matter:
"Leave her alone and she'll be ok."
"Why are you playing the victim card here?"
"Didn't you divorce her, just leave her alone man."
It was also confirmed that Sherine Abdel Wahab was sent to the hospital due to injuries in the face, leg, and eye. Moreover, it seems she suffered from a hyphema where an abundance of blood can be seen in the eye due to trauma.
Local sources also confirmed that the incident took place at a studio located in the "Al Tajmi' Al Khames" area in Cairo, Egypt.
Moreover, authorities are working on taking the necessary actions against Hossam Habib for his actions against Sherine Abdel Wahab.
