Those of us anxious to know if we'll be seeing Latifa on our holy month screens will have to wait just a bit longer, apparently.
Laha Magazine reports that the Tunisian singer needs a little more time to make the big decision on whether she'll accept the starring role in the Ramadan TV show "Al Thaher".
The artist was none too happy when some had jumped the gun reporting that she's already said yes to the script and to our screens. Latifa stressed she is still going over the script of the drama and has not made up her mind on whether she will accept her nomination or not for the leading role. Latifa also denied reports regarding her accepting the role and beginning filming the scenes for the drama.
In a past interview held with Latifa, she stated that she is prepared to enter the acting world once again as a way of fulfilling the request of the late legendary Egyptian director Yousif Shaheen, who had asked her to continue her journey in the acting world.
