In case you didn't know, British singer Jess Glynne is the face behind the angelic voice in the Grammy-winning song "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit.
It's only been three years since the redhead starlet exploded onto the music scene, but she became immediately successful with her hit singles "I Cry When I Laugh," "Right Here" and "Hold My Hand."
Having traveled all over the world to promote her hit album "I Cry When I Laugh," Jess is bringing her music to Dubai Design District’s event, Meet d3, on 9 December.
Jess told Gulf News that she's excited to be performing at the event because of her love for fashion.
"I love fashion, I love feeling good in what I wear. My personal style, I like to just keep sleek and casual day to day. The way I feel about style and fashion is wear what you love and don’t worry about what other people might think because you should be happy and comfortable in whatever you wear," she said.
Before becoming famous, Jess said that "I had normal jobs in retail and in a gym and other stuff… I would work, hang out with my mates and live a normal life."
