He answered a number of questions, where he talked out his upcoming projects after the launching of his latest album “Ya Habibi Tala Janbi” (Come Closer My Love).
According to the London daily Elaph, Abbas points out how he had a close relationship with the late composer Riyadh Al Hamshri, where he has the right to five songs that were composed by him. He will include one song at a time in each new album to make the late talented composer’s memory alive.
On the other hand Abbas talked about his political songs and it is said that he is wanted because of them especially the song “Sayedna Mousa” (Our Master Moses). The Lyric for the song talks about the crimes that the Israelis are committing against the Palestinian and Lebanese civilians and the Arab as a whole.
The lyrics are written by Ayman Bahjat Qamar and composed by Muhammad Rajati. Abbas is thinking of including the song in a political album that talks about the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising) and other Arab political issues.
After his last experience with acting in the movie “Akher El Dunia” (Farthest Places) with actress Nelly Kareem, Abbas is asked if he is welling to star in a new film. Abbas clears out that he is still looking for the right script. He is hoping to be a successful in acting as he is in singing. Abbas is also working on a new project for the cinema and theater especially for kids.
