ALBAWABA - Famous Egyptian actress, Hind Sabri has sparked controversy on X (formerly known as Twitter) after a page called 'Celebs Arabs' quoted her opinion on the recent Gaza-Israel war.
The actress said:
"I refuse to choose who to side with, children didn't ask to be part of your war!"
This quote resulted in hundreds of comments either siding with the Hind Sabri or opposing her opinion since it showed a stance with Israel.

Some X users took to the comment section of the post and said:
"You are definitely right, children have nothing to do with this and they are not at fault"
" I don't understand, what does she mean by this?"
"She is not ok!"
"Children are unfortunately the victims"
Despite the controversy this has caused, Hind Sabri shared on her official Instagram account a post that has the picture "Palestinian Lives Matter" with a long caption stating her opinion on the horrific war taking place right now.
She said that many people have already lost faith in maps and humanity including herself and added that she refuses to choose whose children to mourn since they are all innocent.
Hind Sabri also said that the people paying the price aren't the ones fighting, but the innocent civilians on both sides and that she is in disbelief, in front of such dismissal and dehumanization of the Palestinian people in the media.

Celebrities who sided with Palestine
Karim Abdel Aziz
Famous Egyptian actor, Karim Abdel Aziz took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) account to say that Palestinians are heroes and sent his prayers to them.
He wrote it in Arabic but it was translated to: "May God protect our people in Palestine. May God be with you, heroes."
Kehlani
American singer-songwriter, Kehlani made sure that her fans knew whom she stands with in this horrific war by changing her Instagram profile picture to "I stand with Palestine."
The singer has more than 15 million followers but stated in a story that a lot of people are unfollowing her after sharing her opinion on the matter. Kehlani added that she doesn't care if they unfollow her.
Additionally, she shared a post saying "It's BEEN free Palestine."
Diana Karazon
Jordanian singer, Diana Karazon also posted on her social media that she supports Palestine with a picture of Al-Aqsa mosque.
She said under the post:
"Oh God, grant the people of Palestine victory, glory, strength, and prestige."
Mia Khalifa
Jordanian Producer, Director, and Writer, Tina Shomali has been an advocate supporter of the Palestinians with countless stories and posts on her Instagram.
She said:
"If you can't lift the injustice, at least tell everyone about it."

The Lebanese porn star has been vocal about her stance on Palestine in a series of videos that went viral on her official Instagram account.
Mia Khalifa said:
"The United States just came out in full support of Israel, SHOCKER! They basically fund the idea. We send them about 70 million dollars of military aid every year, for what?"
