Tunisian actress Hind Sabri will appear in a television drama series called “Baed Al Foraq” (After Departure). The name is not fixed yet.
The series was created by Muhammad Ashraf and directed by Shireen Adel. Khaled Saleh will co-star with Sabri. The new series is scheduled to be aired next Ramadan season. The series revolves around a forbidden love affair between a journalist and a maid.
According to the London daily Elaph, the series contains 30 episodes about a boy and a girl who grew up in the same neighborhood. Naji becomes a journalist and Sukara becomes a maid who fights to change her life and becomes a wealthy woman. Sukarah and Naji meet as adults and think they still might be in love.
Filming begins March.
The new drama series marks the second time the writer Muhammad Ashraf has worked with his wife, director Shireen Adel. They previously worked on the Ramadan drama series “Sultan Al Gharam” (The Sultan of Love).
Hind’s new film “Jineh Al Asmak,” directed by Yusri Naser Allah, will open in theaters soon.
