After two years of absence, Egyptian actress Hind Akef stands again on stage to play the starring role in the play Man Sayarbah al Malion (who wins the million) along with Egyptian comedy star Sayyed Zayyan.
Akef told the London-based daily al Sharq al Awsat that she will play the role of the famous Colombian-Lebanese singer Shakira in the play which will be performed in Lebanon for two months.
“The performance tackles the situation of singing in the Arab World and its latest developments,” she added.
The Egyptian actress pointed out that the reasons behind her absence during the last two years were her marriage and delivering a baby.
However, Akef is currently reading the scrip of new film – Albawaba.com
