After hosting the popular television program 'Superstar 3,' former Miss Egypt Hiba Al Saisi is about to begin her acting career. She has taken the leading role in the new play “In Kibir Ibnak” (When your child grows up), opening next week.
The cast includes Sami Al Adel, Mohammad Najati, Du’aa Hijazi, and a number of new faces.
According to the London based Elaph, the play is a musical comedy about the parent child relationship.
Over thousands participants from around the Arab world and abroad have applied to compete for a spot on the popular show Superstar 3, to be hosted by Hiba and Egyptian Aiman Al Kasouni.
Hiba will replace Jordanian singer Rania Al Kurdi, who was host for the past two seasons.
For several months candidates auditioned in front of a panel of judges, consisting of Lebanese composers Elias Rahbani and Ziad Boutrus, Kuwaiti composer Abdullah, and Lebanese star Fadia Al Haj.
The Lebanese television network Future TV made a comeback in mid-May, and will air the new show in September.
